Ok Frank, stop fooling everyone. April 1st is long gone.

Guys, the news is out. Frank has decided to swap his 9887 with my Clarion. I don't have to pay anything extra also :-)

He was totally bowled over by the Clarion's balanced sound and started picking out faults with the 9887. I captured the opportunity and we traded. Simple.

Frank - when's the review coming up?

You wont believe my convincing powers Abhinav. It had to happen. Frank was the one who actually pointed out the Clarion. And knowing his 'upgrade-itis', the bug had to bite him sooner or later.

Maybe, just maybe, he will put up the Clarion for sale at an exorbitantly high price few weeks down the line, once the bug bites him again.

I am no audiophile and cant really figure out the accentuated mids/highs that everyone says about the 9887. I like the sound of it very much. Especially when it comes for free

Frank, don't feel bad. I didn't fool you. It was a good deal. Don't let anyone trick you into believing that you 'downgraded'. Compare on features, not on price

ok the dvd thing was OTT.
and that part about me saying 'sq is not everything' was the weakest link in the entire foolery. i would never say that!
my new HU has already been ordered and its coming in the 2nd week of May.
This time. let it be a tease! (since we have a lot of time on our hands, waiting for the head unit to come in)
Happy GASSSING!
