8 months, 58 pages, 870 posts (and still counting) and over 28000 views later, it has been decided that this car must be sold off. The car was a beauty and however difficult it was to ICE, it sounded wonderful and held herself very well through the umpteen ICE upgrades.
The car itself held up well and despite being a Maruti, I could still hear the ICE over the rattles (kidding!)
With a teary eye, I am soon (Monday) going to bid a farewell to her.
Rest in Peace, MH-01-DA 5076. I love you.

PS: The ICE IS NOT for sale. It is going in to a new car, possibly a Fiesta, but as the venerable one said, "It's not over till it's over..."

even though i havent posted on this thread yet when i joined this forum this thread was one of those that i read from the first post

congratulation on deciding on your new car, i really like the Fiesta and i would get one in a shot if i was purchasing a new vehicle now, but whatever vehicle you get im sure it would benefit from having great ICE so to carry it over to the new car is the best bet especially since you are enjoying your system so much

I cant believe I am typing this, but I have new equipment going into the car as I speak.

The keeda to upgrade my Esteem has bitten me so hard that I feel like upgrading my ICE, even after it's sold to the new owner. (Uske ghar pe jaake upgrade karoonga)

Kidding. LOL.

The owner heard my ICE and was flummoxed. He left after making a request. Saar, I wants one BOOFFFER.

There, my mind started making combinations and permutations to give him the best possible ICE in the least I could spend, since he was not paying more for the ICE.

Here's the final setup that will be in 5076 when her new owner takes her away on Sunday,

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P3450 (no mp3, only audio cd)
Speakers:
Powerbass Slim 65T for the front doors
Pioneer 6985 for the rear shelf
Earthquake SPL Series subwoofer
Sony XM-222 Amp to power the Sub
Earthquake Wiring Kit
Noisekill Damping (50 sq ft)

I will take photos in the day and post here.
I am ashamed to say that it sounds decent. And the equipment is worth the money.

Cheers!

Bumper offer is the 50 sqft noisekill!

Even this ICE combination should sound good in the silence inside the cabin

i mean it's a sea change from what I had, but that cost a lot of money.
For the price, I daresay it sounds pretty good. The earthquake sub, though a one note one is loud. And the Powerbass coaxials, though less sensitive than the pioneer rears, sound decent enough. Better than OE equipment.. LOL
