Arrow Digital Media Receivers

Has anybody used any of these products by alpine?.

These are available at US$ 200-400 (as per the Alpine website)

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.

Now , being Digital Media players- I assume they would not be having moving parts or motors (as they are meant for iPODs, USB drives etc), so -

1)Doesn't the cost of maintenance come down significantly? (No moving parts/ optical eye)
2)Has anyone on TBHP used one of these? - any appreciable difference in Quality?

I would have lovingly got my hands on this system, but sigh!- daughter rules!

Next car for my wife or self- am definitely going in for one of these babies or the like.
