I bought the polk momo DVC 2124 sub for 7k recently. They sound way better than some of the kickers I auditioned and the JBL GT5-12 which I had earlier. I have not auditioned any other sub so I cant really comment. Also I am not sure if the Polk qualifies for a SPL sub. SQ for that price is really good.

I had two 12" Polk Momos in my old Fiesta, so I would say that Momos are absolutely amazing. I had started with one to see how it was, and needless to say I highly recommend. I know you posted this a while back so you may [actually you probably] have already chosen one. But, that's my 2 paise on the subject.

ID sub starts at Rs. 13k as of now. There is also Raibow Hammer for 14k. Since you need it under 10k, you may wait for the ID CTX Sub that will be available in March and will cost under 9k. Let's see if they could be of your taste.

Are you not happy with your current sub or you want to upgrade as part of you ice upgrade? Its better if you collect some cash and move to the next level.

Else if you are ok with used subs,Sam_786 has PIO 3000 spl edition sub with him willing to give away under 8k Contact him.
