Default 10 inch JBL sub. What price?

Hey All,

Am looking to purchase a 10" subwoofer for Santro, in a sealed box. Which are the good brands available and what are the prices? Budget about 5-7k.
Have had great experience with 12" JBL (CS 1204B) in my 800, so am leaning towards the brand. How much would a ten incher from JBL cost, and what is the model number (i.e GT5, GTO, or CS)?

Sam your inputs too if possible.

It does. I have seen a 10" GT5 series JBL sub. It was for around 3-4k with B&W if i am not wrong.

If your budget is 5-7k, why not look for better options in 12" unless space is a constraint. I had a 10" Polk sub in my car earlier which blew up and has been replaced by a JL 12" sub which gives much more tighter and louder bass. Its around 7-8k with B&W including the sealed box.

Hi guys,
Looking for some feedback here- I want to go for a 10" Polk MoMo for my Palio. I saw it has some very good reviews on Crutchfiled. 10 inchers because I don't like too much bass and space is also a concern.

I intend to power it with GTO3501 monoblock, what could be it's cost? or would 3001 be sufficient?

If you are going to use a mono ,get a DVC sub.
Also, a 12" sub will not only be louder but will also play better at very low frequencies.

As I said I don't like a very loud bass, one that plays the lows well without distortion is enough. The diff b/w a 10" and a 12" was about 1Hz lower for a 12" sub which can I do without I think. Moreover I feel an amp will drive a 10" sub more near its rated output than a 12" sub.

Any dealers for GZ brand in bangalore?

That's what I mentioned as good about 2104 Polks at crutchfield. I haven't come across any from tbhp so far.

I have not ruled out GZ and Bull but finding any installs/dealers here in bangalore for these is painful.

Does JBL offer 10" sub here? I'll also be interested to know more about that.
