It is not stable @ 2 ohms when bridged.
Minimum impedance when bridged is 4 ohms.

I dont think 75.4 is stable at 2 ohms in bridged mode.. but in stereo mode, it is and probably this is what LBM meant

Sub is 4 ohm stable !!

I won't go for 2 subs now i sat down yesterday and did the calculations & it blowed me away :P

I think one sub powered nicely is more than enough as even when it is not playing on full potential it was much bassier than 2 JBL & 2 Pioneer.

Also saw that box is weak so i need to replace the box to much stronger one

ok here's the further plan

Convert the Sub Box to good quality MDF BOX
Am confused between Ported or Sealed Box cause ported boxes makes the bass go high but in sealed it played much more clean
Damp the boot
Power the sub with 1004
Pick a used 4 channel Amp to power compos( JBL or panasonic)

75.4 is for my sub as 1004 is beter for more compos as it plays cleaner

WIRING DIAGRAM FOR SUB PLEASE !!

Wait for a day and your plans will be changed...which is a usual for you !!!!

What calculations you did ? Let us also know maybe we all here at T-Bhp help you raise your budget.

What happened you made a new box and it is already weak ?

A good designed ported box will sound equally good as a sealed box. But a incorrect ported box will sound bad, very bad.

I would say power the speakers through a 75.4 and wire the sub through 1004. I find 75.4 better sounding than 1004, but it is me you use both the amps and choose what you like the best.

Bro box was designed correctly but the wood used by the guy is bad, the wood is ok for small subs. So i will get a free replacement from him

I think this time it will be a sealed box , do i need to use glass wool in box?

let me finalise with the amp and all going to have a look at 75.4 today which is lying with some one , or else i will pick JBL 604 or 644 brand new grey for compos

and lastly my plans change for 2 reasons 1 is I get bored with stuff very quickly and all this upgrades are done by my saved up money and not my earning so i have to run about to get good deals !!

There is no difference between the two amplifiers, when you open them they are same,604 is available in grey and 644 b&w (atleast in Mumbai)

GT5-604/644 SQ wise its not that great amplifier but will sound ok,as tried and tested you can and get the Infinity reference 475a,I think this amp is 2ohms table will deliever 75W-RMS comfortably or if you can get the kicker KX300.4 you would be drooling over it.

I would not agree LBM Paaji. But then its your opinion.
The 75.4 was a bit harsher as compared to 1004 for the tweeters atleast.
The mid bass is a bit more cleaner and more in the 1004.
However when powering the sub at 2 channels in bridged, the 75.4 is better than the 1004.
Don't think this should happen but that is my opinion on the basis of listening stuff.

The ones i was listening to was JBL 608c on both the 75.4 and the 1004.
