ohk guys after a long delay .. kenwood x794 was installed last evening ...

very happy to get this head from crutchfield casue they supplied free extra goodies which made the installation a breeze .

This head is by far the best head i have installed in my car , the mids and treble are so good now (according to my ears) and overall front stage is much much better !!

Woofer is also blending very well with fronts !!

I would personally rate this head over P80RSII if one is not going active!!

@ Karan ... Panasonic and P80RSII sounds very very similar ( passive mode on P80RSII) , i can't make out any difference in sound between 8850 , Panasonic and P80RSII ..

And i don't like sound with TA so Panasonic competes very well with P80RSII

Put some water, the dryness should go away.

ok guys the install is done ...
and now the sound stage is even more better , especially the front stage ..

The head being more warmer we had to lift the db settings to 0 from -3 for FOCALS ..

and beleive or not the FOCALS now play very very different& detailed from what it used to play with P80RSII with HK amp and it sounds wonderful now !!!
