almost all the faclities in China are huge. I dont know how they do it. Their factories are 5-10 times bigger than similar factories in India, US, or Europe.

Also their per worker productivity is higher than India (while their per worker cost is about the same as India) when I visit China I often see one worker managing more than 1 CNC machine while in India in most factories there are 2-3 workers per CNC machine.

Some of this stems from the fact that the chinese embraced CNC long before India and in a huge way. Imported machines were shamelessly copied and reproduced and even upgraded to perfrom better than the original machine. These copies were then mass produced and this laid the foundation for huge manufacturing capabilities.

Pictures in the link shows a Die Casting unit which casts speaker basket.
