Oops my bad I said eggzactly without removing the from mid pass part

Abhinav- Is that the case? I thought it was from tweeters atleast for the Front Comps. The rears are 6X9 so it would be center of speaker.

I wasn't noticing that time, may be Ajay can clarify as to how he set it in my ICE.

That's right. Considering the Midbass as the point source for the PLD would be better as most of the midrange freq. is played by the midbass in a 2way comps and after the TA on midbass, one can try relocating the tweeter mounting location where it would blend well along with the midbass.

He must have done it through the mid bass only. as mentioned in bold in Abhishek's quote

Exactly how a 2 way passive set should be TA'd

Disclaimer - I've never done TA.

But specific to Technocrat's setup (you have Illusions, right?), the passive XO frequency for the Electra tweets are probably a tad lower than other comps in that price range. This could be a reason for the tweeters being taken as the reference? Hope Ajay confirms/negates.

Yesterday, I noticed something which I wanted to verify with fellow owner.

I was listening to a long mp3 track(about 2 hours long). After 60 minutes, the play time resets to 0 and starts all over again. Now I dont remember how it was in the Pioneer 5050, but I was a bit miffed at this design flaw. Cant Clarion keep a running timer?

I think it would be most likely- a lecture/speech, or a long classical/live performance, or a whole CD ripped as a single track. Wait... even a CD can be maximum about one and a half hour long, so the last option is ruled out!

What is that, Nishant?

DocG, I listen to a *lot* of Armin Van Buuren. Especially my weekly dose of A State Of Trance. I like to listen it as one continuous episode so I join the individual tracks. It runs into ~225 mb and definitely much over 1 hour.

He he ok, I thought perhaps it was an audiobook or something along those lines. Is there any advantage in merging all tracks as opposed to burning them separately? There shouldn't be as per my knowledge?

I thought Inna-gadda-da-Vida was a long song. I think the longest single song I have tried is "Thick as Brick". No such problem. Ripped at 320kbps it is 75MB (43 mins).

THat's the trick! Check if it is the memory stream overload that resets the timer! Some HUs could only read tracks as big as 256MB. No one expected to have tracks larger than that.
