@navin actually one of my friends who has the same setup that too on his lancer was having problems at night when his system and his xenon lights work together his xenon blinks very slightly and after he installed the cap the problem was over.

PS: he has 2 bass tubes

Good. But looks like you have bad wiring. Wont suggest power to be channeled along RCAs.

Seriously, you dont need a capacitor, just get a good set of wiring.Another thing is that why are you thinking of another bass tube.Rather get a better sub in a sealed/ported and then you will actually feel the difference.Ive even heard from a friend that Xtreme has gone to the extent of installing four JBL bass tubes in a Innova. My only question is why would somebody do something like that? Its hilarious.

I had 2001 lancer sfxi. The parts that rattle the most were the spoiler, brake lights next to the number plates, number plate itself and the parcel tray. In your case no spoiler. If you can address the other parts, then it should be good enough. Also see if you can get a port made in the parcel tray for air flow.

I can be a wrong also as the setup i was running back in 2001 compared to yours is lot different

@jkdas i'll keep that in mind thanks
@djnik as i said earlier i already have a good wiring (read my earlier posts), as for the innova guy he's a little cracked thats what i heard, even the Xtreme guys laughs at him it was his own wish to install 4 JBL's, i dont know what he was trying to do. as for the sub i really like the bass tube effect
@shreyasma yes the no plate vibrates as they are stock but will see what i can do for the vibrations. thanks

Nice setup there
Do change the wiring
And I understand what you mean by the tube effect
I believe you'l get the same kinda effect, in fact more thump from a sealed box.
You can check out Dj's sub and then decide.

@karan i sent a private message to anish9000 lets see if i can find noise kill in calcutta, by day way i was wondering why people prefer woofers more than bass tubes is it only because woofers give more punch or basstubes give more groove.

Why not order it directly from @Bass&Trouble?

I've felt that the bass is more well-defined with 'woofers in boxes', compared to bass tubes.

Frankly this is the 1st time i'm hearing of Helix SUBS
I'd suggest go for a JBL sub if you have budget constrains.
If your still confused b/w the 2, I have a friend with a bass tube willing to sell it. Hear his tube and hear DjNik's sub and then decide for yourself.
And for the damping get it from B&T or someone.

i already have one bass tube and i'm thinkin of merging a sub with it so that i can get more bass and a little groove with it too, where does djnik get his work done from ?? do you know who can make a nice box for the sub and how much will it cost i mean with the JBL SUB + BOX ?

I use Noisekill damping - got it from Ajay (Bass & Trouble). Any reason why you don't want to get it from him? Shipping should not take that long.
Glix does not sell Noisekill AFAIK.

Never heard a Helix sub, so can't comment.
i dont mind getting it from B & T was just checking around weather i can get it in cal.

Don't make the mistake of merging the two.
Itl'l be a disaster.
you should get a JBL sub for about 4k and the box will set you back by another 1000-1300 bucks.

as mohit said never install 2 subs from different brands. try and buy the same brand bass tube that you already have.
