My plan is to connnect all the devices including pheripherals to this PSU [this is my initial plan]. Also, I checked in the Hyderabad market for a DC-DC PSU for mini-ITX board and they informed that they can arrange for M4-ATX. Since then, I had doubts on its availability in india.

If not M4-ATX, do we get any opus and DSATX in india ? I feel importing them is costlier and time consuming.

M4-ATX is not bad at all when comparing the price factor with OPUS. But may be I am a stupid to return it for an OPUS.

Just do a research and decide yourself as If I started to preach you, somebody with more post counts will be here to kick me off as usual.

Surprisingly, I read that "Rule of thumb: If you need over 200 watts of power, you are looking at using an inverter. If you need less, you may be able to use a DC-DC converter." in the mp3car.com forum. I am little reluctant to buy M4-ATX after reading this. Anybody have any info.

It's True if you are in 2005 with a timing machine. See the date of post.

Man, M4-ATX is better than any high end car inverter.

One more in the process . This is for Verna CRDi and am in process of procuring the parts. Any suggestion for enclosure as I dont feel the one available at iRide is worth 3k just for plain enclosure. OBD II scanner I am sourcing from US but have to wait 2 weeks.
