cant even get the Gz Hydrogen. 2*2 Ohms, which means I will utilize only 350W RMS.

Here is the thing:
1. Gz Hydrogen: Out
2. Shiva-X: Out
3. SSA Dcon: Out
4. ID: Tempted to get the 2 ID V2 d2's.
5. ID15: Out due to the fact that I can almost get 2 ID12's for the price of one ID15.

ID15.v3 is for about 21-22K. How much are the ID12 for ?

Instead of infinity I suppose ID's stand better.
Why not consider these instead of Infinity Rockford Fosgate Punch P3SD212 Shallow-mount 12" Component Subwoofers Car Subwoofers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix

There is no IDq15v3 Frank.
It used to come in v2 but not in v3.

Its the ID v3 which is available in the 15" version. Which is for around 24 i guess ( don't know new prices)

i really dont have a thing for 2 subs. i just felt, 2 Luccents were required to sound the way I wanted. If i do find a sub that does as well as that, using a single driver, I shall buy!

There IS a lot one can do!
1. Option 2 can be made pretty compact if one goes in for a dual siobarik config. One option I have used (using Peerless 10" 831727 drivers) is a 3 chamber dual isobarik. The 2 woofers that radiated into the cabin/room were facing each other. Since this system was corner loaded it did not have to be tuned very low, corner re-inforcement extended bass to the low 20s.

Now if you port the boxes (assuming the drivers are suitable) you can effectivly simulate a coupled cavity box (Neat Speakers makes speakers with coupled cavity bass so you can get the pics from them). I have never used this config but am told that it allows one to pretty low in a rather small box.

2. A TL in a car has been done. Ask B&T. Be prepared to sacrifice a lot of trunk space. If however trunk space is a premium then forgetaboutit.

The only person I know who has done this is me in my 1988 Contessa. That was 20 years ago.

2 of these. These are known for their light weight and sound like the luccents. ...and they can easily fit into fibre glass enclosures on 2 sides of the boot. What say????
1. Untill we see T/S specs BL, Mms, etc.. we cant tell much except from the reputation of these drivers.

2. If you are looking at 2 subs; one on either side of the trunk be aware that one side (the sinde with the petrol tank) will end up with a smaller box and also angle the subs so that they do not directly face each other but maybe more towards teh rear windshield.

2 x 12" is the safe method. 1 x 15 will not give you more bass than 2 x 12 but may go lower depending on driver used and box tuning.

Given your limited power availability I'd not recommend isorbailk. Given you need your trunk space lets eliminate the 15" options too. That sorta leaves with your tried and tested dual 12" in sealed boxes option.
