Question Music setup for an Estate - Adveture sports

Hi Team,

I am looking for your guidance on putting the good music system - max 20 k

1. Good head, should play MP3, do you get 6 channel head?

2. As you know it has slot for six speaker, ur suggestions for
2.1 Dash - which speaker, or probably tweeter?
2.2. Door speaker?
2.3 rear - speaker?

3. which amp..4 channel or 6 channel, is 6 channel worth it?

4. sub-woofer - I am concerned abt the the sub placement - I don't want to ruin the sapce with fixed sub in the back, neither I want to place it on the tray- wats the use of an estate with fixed tray. how abt tube subs..which can be taken out when required? or if you put good rear speaker..is sub required at all?

Thanks for your advice in advance

sure u can get a 6 channel (I prefer to call it 2+2.1) HU for say 10-12K. sub controls are not that unusual. Sony I think makes a good one in that price range.

Lets see a what a basic system with yor specs will cost.
HU: 10K (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GqhYFKyscmP/cgi-bin/prodgroup.asp?g=62700&avf=N&nvpair=FFPrice%5FRange |%5Brank2%5D%24151%2D%24250&nvpair=AG%5FGeneral%5F Features|YCSub%5FPreamp%5FOutputs&nvpair=AG%5FGene ral%5FFeatures|YCMP3%5FID3%5FTag%5FDisplay&nvpair= YCPreamp%5FOutputs%7C3+pair)

Front Components: 5.25" under 6K (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GqhYFKyscmP/cgi-bin/prodgroup.asp?g=76300&avf=N&nvpair=FFPrice%5FRange |%5Brank1%5DUp+to+%24175&nvpair=FFSensitivity%7C%5 Brank4%5DOver+91dB)

if you can strech your budget to say 5K more and use 10K for the front speakers(http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GqhYFKy...76+%2D++%24225)

or if you can shoe horn a 6" woofer in the front door then see this (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GqhYFKy...5DUp+to+%24175)

4 channel amp: 5K Sony 504 (no link for this) or http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GqhYFKyscmP/cgi-bin/prodgroup.asp?g=120&avf=N&nvpair=FFPrice%5FRange|% 5Brank1%5DUp+to+%24200&nvpair=FFRMS%5FPower%40%40C hannel%7C%5Brank1%5DUp+to+60

Active tube sub: 8K (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GqhYFKy...?g=51000&avf=N)

Rear Speakers : 1K. there are quite a few here from Pioneer to Blaupunkt (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GqhYFKyscmP/cgi-bin/prodgroup.asp?g=400&avf=N&nvpair=FFPrice%5FRange|% 5Brank1%5DUp+to+%2440&nvpair=YCDesign|2%2Dway&nvpa ir=FFSpeaker%5FSize%7C6+3%2F4+++++)

10K for the HU, 6K for the front, 5K for the amp, 8K for the sub, 1K for rear speakers = 30K
with slightly better front speakers say 35K.

You can build this in steps.
