Default RAdio

Gigy - how is the performance of the ADS radio? I am planning to get an HQCT from US and am using Centrafuse 2.0. Will ADS do the job? What connector would I require to mate it to the car antenna? and from where?

That ADS fm receiver is not recommended. i am yet to get a proper signal. As of now only getting hissing sound with stock car antenna. I have used a normal rca connector with a small wire to connect outers. will try relocating and changing antenna after i come from vacation.

Thanks. I had to remove the cup holder and push the dvd drive into it.

Although VM70 touch screen is cheaper i am missing the old lcd from iride, it was better display.

Where did you get the enclosure for the cpu ? do you have a photo of that before installation ? And will the atom board also fit into that ?

The frame is stock one which holds normal headunits in baleno and i think alto.(may be common for all maruti).
The metal at bottom is actually removed from a old headunit. All mini-itx including atom boards and smaller ones will fit in without issue. you will have to flatten any projections and tabs sticking out of the kind of case i used or put in a aluminium tray of your own of same size.

Why did you change it ?

And aren't those controls at the bottom a hindrance to your AC buttons over there ?
