Frank you are completely and absolutely insane. I completely forgot to come and have a look at the setup when I was in bombay a couple of weeks ago. Will it ever stop though, or will it keep getting better and better. remember the days of a pearl white esteem with a flip star stop button!!

enough with the teasing Frank, if these puppies are with you then click some good quality pics and upload them, dont make us watch youtube videos for that, i never thought i would see an adire product in recent times and that too in a fiesta, but i guess you never know whats going to happen tomorrow, now im beginning to wonder will i even get to see a Brahma sometime at India, though i really doubt it will ever happen as the company has become a titanic, anyway yesterday i saw a brand new harley at dehradun and some middle aged gentleman was riding it, times are changing i guess and stereotypes are becoming history, i guess if i keep my fingers crossed i might get lucky someday!

Frank with these heavy coned subs subwoofer orientation can affect the over all response significantly. Here is a documented case (I found it interesting as I have 4 DV12s)

Interesting finding: Driver orientation effects T/S parameters. - diyAudio

I am in love. Totally!!! Absolutely smitten with the dual Adire Koda setup. Just as I expected.
I had always read that XBL^2 subwoofers sound great!!
But still, on owning them now, it's unbelievable, the way they play each and every note thrown at them, also hitting hard and going low at the same time. It's been 2 days since I had them, and they need a few more days to be broken in, but man, I am just amazed by the elan with which they hit the highs and the lows. Time alignment means the punch and thud is delivered at the right place (near the front windshield) and I am extremely satisfied at how things are shaping up.

NOW for the horns. (which I have been told, will be installed in the coming week)
More from me soon.

My word. :-O

The horns were installed today. I just heard them for an hour, but I have already started worshipping them. Ajay says they need a few hours of breaking-in, and I must say that even now, I haven't heard a car audio transducer of this calibre before. It is frankly, quite mind blowing and does stuff I have never heard a speaker do in a car. Super dynamic, plays low, realllllly low (we have cut it off @ 1200 hz) and has made me smile quite a few times already :-)

Photos: (Apologies for the slightly muddy interiors of the car. It was raining quite manically here in Mumbai today!)

Frank one of the fears I have always had with horns since most of them are installed under the dash is that do they interfere with the feet and the driving position?

Besides in case of an accident would your legs hit the horns?

How far back is the compression driver?

the answer is no no and no. The horns have been installed by ajay's staff. And Ajay kept ensuring that i sit in the car while the horns are adjusted to be placed so that i can check the safety aspect. Rest assured they are placed quite far from my feet or my knees for that matter. If there is an accident the horns are very far off. the horns will not obstruct anything and feet or knees will not come into contact. The compression drivers are facing the engine compartment and as is visible from the photos they are out of the way.

Hey Frank

I am really amazed at the size of the horns!

I do not know anything about these and would be really pleased if you could add a technical link/ list / make etc for noobs like me.

Just 1 thought, since these are placed so low in the dashboard wouldnt the imaging be more biased to the lower side of the dashboard?

Again, I do not know how these horns work and stuff like that so please bear with my noob question.
