Remote Ready usually means you have to buy the remote seperately. I dont understand remotes in a car. if you are driving you cna reach the stereo and if you are not chaging songs or stations or sources remotely will distract the driver.

i agree with navin that remote is a distraction while driving.I dont use it at all while driving.

But its very useful when not driving and it also helps in increasing life of HU functions.

There's a very slim chance that you'll get a 'cheapest' kinda price on anything to have to do with UK, although there are a million internet retailers in the US that have good pricing. Depends on what brand though. And it's best to ensure that the merchant in concern is an authorized web retailer for the brand in concern. Even if you can't avail the warranty offshore, atleast you know you're not getting B stock or factory refurbished products.

But Sam, is he not better off with the amp in the boot? You have seen the 6100's size in my car. Will people not end up kicking it?

And where did the ? go in your picture profile thing?

I prefer mounting the amps on the rear seat. under the seat they get kicked a lot. Sam does not have small kids yet. wait till he does and he'll change his mind! :-) LOL BTW I'm told Sam is great with kids.

If you want to make you amps discrete and still in the boot cover it with a thin black cloth. I use stuff that I got to make my speaker grills with.

I'm not even touchig the "7" topic! :-) LOL

I agre with navin.initially i was very reluctant to install amp on rear seat but JB encouraged me to do it.
Now i feel that there cant be any better place than behind rear seat as amp will get maximum breathing space here. And amps do need lot of breathing space which i found last week while coming from Jallandhar after 2nd service of my car.

I played my system continously for more than 1 hr with volume mid high to high and when i cam home...man amp was HOT.
