Default Swift Ice!!!

Gurus,

I am looking forward to get a friend's new Swift ICed. The budget is 30-35k INR

Looking for a Single Din HU, 4 Channel amp that can be bridged for a JBL Sub/Basstube. 6.5" Components.

Getting Hertz HSK165 for 5500/-

Amp and HU and woofer are still the blind points here.

For HU i have thought of Kenny 7013 or Pioneer 6050 Single Din. Any ideas where i can get them without bill in NCR as for Bill price for kenny is 12990/- which is a bit too high for me. What about a good amp. Is JBL GT5- 644 a good amp. Guys please help me out with this asap.I am also not very sure about woofers in 5k range. Which would be the best? JBL, Polk, Ground Zero, ID CTX if i can get in that range

Thanks in Advance

HU - 13K Kenny 7013
Amp - 6K JBL 644, Kenny 8404
subwoofer - 6K JBL CS 1215 or GZ 30T (I dont think the ID CTX comes under 6K).
components - 5.5K (you already have decided on the Hertz)
Damping 2K
Wires and install 2.5K
----------------------
Total 35K - so even with bill the Kenny fits your budget.

thanks piyush - it looks like a great vfm option!

can you comment on how it sounds? if it sounds deep/rich enough?

this is the 12" one right?

Hey Guys,

I am looking for a similar configuration for my Swift too.. Although I am willing to stretch the budget till 40k. Thought I might list out a few priorities:

1. IPod supported HU is a must

2. I would assume I am quite sensitive to sounds and hence mostly prefer to listen to .wav format than mp3. So the quality of sound is very important to me.

3. I have an eclectic taste in music- listen to contemporary Jazz like the Erik Truffaz kinds, world music like Vishwamohan Bhatt/ Ry Cooder and of late am listening to a lot of beautiful Indian Electronica courtesy MIDIval Punditz and Karsh Kale

Would be most grateful for suggestions keeping in mind the kind of music I listen to. As of now I am quite ok with Piyush's configuration.

I suggest you listed to the Components around you pref from Infinity, JBL, Hertz, Rainbow, Bull Audio, ID and then decide on the components because they are most important for the SQ. I assume 7013 has Ipod support with Seperate cable.
