Default Finally I ROCKED MY WORLD !!!

Finally I was blessed with the good luck......Finally music flows in my car......

After a wait of more than an year, I finally took the courage of upgrading my Car's Audiology.

The CAR -- SWIFT ZXI

Audio Specs - Fitted with Factory Audio System -- Nipon CD/MP3 Player (Double Din) , Nippon Speakers 6 Inches.

Sound - Just about OK to live with.

The Plan

Have a better sound stage in the car PERIOD.

The EQUIPMENT

SPEAKERS FRONT- DLS Components (MS6A)

SPEAKERS REAR - NONE

HU - ALPINE CDA -117 (Time Alignment, Bluetooth, USB, IMPRINT Ready, IPOD/Iphone ready) basically all the oohhh laa laaa one can look for.

AMP - JBL 75.4 (The old master)

WIRES - Scosche 4 Awg.

Damping - Front 2 Doors.

The RESULT

Me sitting in car with a weird smile on the face, people on the road and in their cars wondering whats the funny joke he heard.

Its been a long time I was smiling all day without much to explain to anyone.

A BIG THANKS to Ajay for helping me finalising the equipment... thanks man you ROCK !!!!

NEXT Stage

Hunt for a good SUB to complete the Sound Stage setup.

Wow, that's one hell of an upgrade from the stock ICE!
Congrats bro and yes, the smile comes naturally with the DLS .

I'd suggest you run-in the components at moderate volumes for a week or two, the mid-bass will open up very nicely.

A few quick questions if you don't mind

- Which brand did you use for Damping and how much was required for the Swift?
- Does the MS6A come with T25 tweeters, hows the sound?

Do post some pics of the install!

Cheers!
Enjoy the music.

Nice choice there. Congrats
I have few questions though. You said you have BT,USB and Ipod in the HU. But didnt you have to buy seperate BT reciver with this.
Also this HU comes with only one cable which can be used with Ipod, so how do you plan to use USB with the Ipod connected. Please let me know.

Great looks like DLS has really made an impact on TBhp. Now if only the new distributors would represent the entire DLS range here in India.

And of course congratulations, hope you enjoy your new system to the core...

Thanks Guys.. I am loving and enjoying it.....

@thelord

Damping was done with AudioDamp since Noisekill was unavailable.. It looked good and is working well as a sound deadner till now.... Per door 2 sheets were used so in total of 4 sheets for the front door..

The MS6A came with UP1c tweeter and the sound is FANTASTIC.....

@nitinralli

The HU came with 2 seperate cables USB and IPod/Iphone connector cable.

I will be using only USB for the time being...

Regarding Bluetooth not very sure if we need any other device, havent checked that till now.

Very nice upgrade done there. Somehow, I always felt that the stock HU with the swift ZXI was not that exciting. Please share some pics of the ICE.
