Question Amp and subwoofer for SX4 ZXi

Hi all,
I am getting my SX4 ZXi automatic in a couple of weeks.
I have a 2channel JBL amplifier and a 12inch PolkAudio subwoofer which I would like to fit in the SX4's stock audio system.
Does the stock audio system have a pre-out or any port at the back to connect an amp and subwoofer?

I don't want to change the stock audio system.

Please advise.

Thanks

Regards,
Vignesh G

No your OEM system does not have any preouts. you will need an amp that has (a) speaker level inputs or you will need a speaker level to line level converter and (b) subwoofer level control (a cable that allows you to control the level of your subwoofer amp while you are in the cabin).

The stock Nippon HU on the SX4 does have one pair of preout! So you can go ahead and install your 2 channel amp thereby utilising the available preouts on the HU

Cheers
