Default Transfering Music System from old Esteem to new Swift!

Hi Guys,

I have with me JBL rear oval speakers, Pioneer Tweeters and an Auzo 2 Channel Amp from my old Esteem.

Please suggest me a good combination of Headunit (Preferably Pioneer) and Front door components speakers for Swift.

What Iam currently looking at is :-

Pioneer 2290/4250.
Hertz 6" Component Speakers.

I need 'quality and clarity' more than anything and need proven models.

Basically please tell me the models with price (and shops near koramangala). My budget incl fixing charges of around 1.5k (since i have some things already with me) will be 13k - 14k.

Thanks,
Sam Bangalore.

Hello! Can anyone please help me!!!

Iam closing in on a Pioneer 5290 HU and Hertz Component Speakers.

I have a 2 Channel amp with me. One guy told me that there is no use in fitting the Hertz Component speakers without driving it from an amp. Is it true?

@sam_sant2005, no, an amp is not mandatory. It only helps improve the dynamic range, as the headroom (ability to handle soft and loud passages with equal felicity) of the built-in amp of the HU is never as good as that of an external amp.

Since you already have a 2-channel amp, you are covered. Which model of Hertz were you looking at? DSK / ESK / HSK?

You could look at other (well-known) brands & models too - Infinity, JBL, Blaupunkt, Polk, Boston, Morel ... the list is long. Wherever you go looking, ask for an audition - preferably installed in a car. If you are lucky (and the shop gets good business) there will always be some or the other car there.
