Absolutely mind blowing!

No oil change. Only checkup and wash/wax. Yes the cost till now seems very reasonable.
Cheers

As if the T-Fort was not desirable enough.
With the cost of maintaining one being so wallet friendly. It makes wanting one even more desirable. Any updates on the performance of the MMI/Caska navigation combo?

Bought digital tyre pressure gauge from 20 North online. Very good online experience. Received the package in 8 days. They updated the status of my consignment by e-mail regularly. Overall very nice experience. Yesterday I had my second purchase from them. Car ionic air purifier. Will be delivered soon. Attaching some snaps.
Cheers

At last completed 10000kms after 21 months. Definitely will be the slowest in this forum to reach there. As usual nothing major to report.
Cheers

Hello Dilipkumar, Would you mind sharing the frontal dimensions of the Caska system. Did you buy this from dealer itself?

Completed kms 15000kms yesterday. Nothing much to report. Caska is working fine. One small niggle I have is that the CD gets stuck in the drive occasionally. It takes multiple tries to eject the CD. The SQ is Ok...not great but I prefer features and oem look.
To my surprise I got 16kmpl to a litre in my Fortuner.

Default Caska ICE Unit MMI Upgrade

I upgraded my Toyota Fortuner ICE to Caska ICE in June 2013. It is fortuner new model (2013). I bought this from a dealer in Mumbai and he gave me a price of 38.5K including buy back of my original ICE. The Caska unit runs fine, but, the (MapmyIndia) MMI SD card that I bought seems to be outdated. I checked with Mapmyindia and they are suggesting me to buy a single update to ver 8.0 for 1800rs.

Any views please

After waiting for views, have gone ahead and placed an order for Mapmyindia Ver 8.0 !! Here is what has happened since then

1) Went online as directed by support@mapmyindia.com and paid Rs1800 for the upgrade
2) After waiting for 2 days, contacted Support and they reverted back saying, I need to send my SD card to them.
3) Dispatched the same via speed post and waited for them to get back
4) Called up a few times and they replied " It is with our technical department"
5) After a lot of follow up, received a e-mail today, which says they are upgrading me to Syngic Aura 8.0 as they have stopped the original product upgrade.
6) They will try and dispatch this today!!

Not very happy with the overall experience. I will wait and see what I get back. Unfortunately, will be in Travel mode for the next 12 days and will have to report back after that
