Just a small update to this thread:
1. what is your existing setup
Car swift vdi
Pioneer 6050
Hertz DSK 165
Hertz DCX 690

2. How much did it cost ?
Hu = 10k
Fronts = 4.4k
Rears = 3.3k
Total = 19k (including labor and wodden plank)

Would like to know form members here if this combination is ok and price is fine. It is without bill.

I am not sure about the speakers but 10K for this particular HU without bill is too much, price should be 8.5ish without bill, though I would suggest you to go with bill.

I agree. Last time when I enquired the price of this HU in Bangalore, it was around 9.5K WITH bill.

DSK 165 usually retails for 4.5K WITH bill. I guess for 4.4K, you should have got with bill.

Where did you buy/install these btw ?

I got this from a chap who works in famous car accessories shop of jayanagar. He was recommended to me by my friend for his neat work. And indeed he did a nice job in terms of fit and finish. He gave me warranty cards of all products and said whenever I require he shall fill it up to avail the same. Though I asked for a bill he said he can give me anytime I want. I too feel it is higher side but it was too late as I already paid him. Now what to do? I think I shall ping my friend and update him.

Default Swift HU OEM is alpine?

A friend of mine who bought a swift recently sent me the snap of his new HU.

I somehow am not sure this is alpine's style.

What do you guys think?

looks OE from the fit, does have the official MS and Alpine logos. Guess its a new face plate and the unit would be a single DIN Alpine unit.

Yes. This is alpine and I have seen it physically. Not sure about its quality but yes except bluetooth it contains essential features like AUX and USB.
