Sorry to be a muggle, if these spacers are added, will it not make the doors fat and hamper the safety?

There is ample gap between the doors and the speakers even if these MDF rings are placed, In Bangalore almost all audio professional installers place a MDF ring between the speakers and the door. Moreover, they are only about an inch or so in thickness. You can check with any audio installer in your city. I had done it in my Ritz so can say, there is lot of gap in the doors. Shouldn't matter. Dont worry. Once the Door pads are fixed you wouldn't even know.

Can someone help at this odd hour? I'm stuck with a car decor at KPHB. They don't know how to install ICE.

Where exactly are you?

Try visiting Reliance Car Decors on the Madinaguda road (Near Lingampally).

What is the problem that you are facing?

I bought HU and speakers from them. All installed, but they are lost when it comes to connecting the steering controls.

I'm near Road # 1, KPHB.

For that may be you'll need to visit MASS for it get working correctly or any high-end audio installer.

Didn't they how the OEM wiring is done before the HU change?

You will need Steering remote interface for Ritz which you should get for less than 2.5K and this should fix your problem with connecting the player controls to the steering controls.

But the HU I bought from them ( Sony - XAV-68BT-15.7 cm WVGA Touch Panel Monitor with Bluetooth) has steering wheel control configurations. Should I still buy additional?

Hello All,

Sorry for bringing up this old thread. I was planning to change HU of my Ritz VDI Genus which comes with company fitted Nippon HU.

I was wondering if it is possible to change HU ? As the existing HU looks like single unit. How and where do I fit a single DIN unit after removing the stock HU. Is there a replacement flap available as in LXI/LDI ?
