Hey arush, though im not as experienced as you...actually...i have absolutely no experience,i suppose you are talking about the quality of fibre glass. In that case, why cant steel be used. All demo pickups abroad have a lot of body work without which they would look Sad.The 207 has a chassis which can support a lot of weight and an engine to haul it too!!

Cant the suspension be lowered, the 207 must look low to be eyecatcher...else itll be an eyesore.Wat mclaren and i were talking about was hydraulics that will lift the entire bay to about 75degrees.When its horizontal it will look like any other show pickup...but i promise that the lifter will get this show car on all international auto mags. Its called thinking out of the box and its going to be very important in the future of automobiles and everything.People criticise all all concepts saying that they are not possible but once its done people will be flocking to the jbl stall.Think about it:
"The JBl bling machine -customised by autopsyche" Something like that will put designers like DC to shame.

Why must sam copy sony? Why must sam do the usual stuff?Sam knows he has a better product than sony and he must show it off.The safari wont look good with 20" rims nor can it handle them.Whatever you do to it,it still wont achieve that"bling factor" which is essential in pulling crowds.

thats it

ps:I had written a lot more on this but the comp started hangin.
pps:No offence to anybody
ppps:You may think that im promoting the 207 coz it was my idea in the first place;but the fact is that i want sam to have something unique...even if its a blinged out auto!!

Hey Guys.....

How about a Baleno Altura....
Its a station wagon..... rip the back seats and u got lot of space...for Sam to stuff all his no holds barred equipments.....
can be upgraded to 17 or 18" rims even spinners....
Has a great engine which is powerful and will give u decent FE too....Also the altura has a better looking rear end than baleno...
Sam can get decals done i've seen the palio...

I think its a better package as a whole....

the Opel Swing and Fiat Weekender also fall in this class.

However I feel that combis while having a hatch donot allow the public to see the full innards.

depending on the body mods possible I would choose between a pickup like the 207, a SUV like the Dicor or Bolero, or a hatch like the Swift or Sail.

Keep this in mind.

1. body must look BUTCH!
2. Must be low enough for all innards to be visible by a crowd of people standing outside
3. must be hardy enough to withstand the grind of touring.

I implore autopsyche and other pro mody modders to offer their valued opinion.

No way! the TL looks good ONLY when it has raised suspension. Some Saudi boys have put in even taller suspension and it looks pretty menacing on the roads thereafter.

You know guys, my first feeling was a hatchback. You guys are all veering towards big big trucks and SUVs and SUTs... and now my mind is all fuzzy.

I now realise why people get confused when they enter this forum

More precisely so at the ICE section. Remember the statutory warning thread by Sound Maniac.

you "mind"? or what's "on your mind" (read as head)?.

Sam, it pays to be autocratic sometimes.

autopsyche could the 207 or SUV be converted into something like the PT cruiser (http://www.thecarshow.com/review121701ptcruiser.html)

reason: the rear hatch can open fully to show the innards. there is enough height to include hydraulics, and the parts cant be stolen.

Sam, you seem to need some more inspiration....

What if I said forget the 207 and use a TATA Sierra, you can have both the side windows made to lift up like gullwing windows and a split rear door
