just to know.,
why do you people say lancer is overrated?

Overrated cars:

1. All Hondas (in spite of the higher pricing, lesser features, and particularly knowing that Hondas sell at much lower prices elsewhere in the planet!!)
2. All Toyota models - Camry in Particular, quite obscene price for its worth.

Underrated cars:

1. Palio 1.2/1.6 (as mentioned right through the thread)
2. Baleno (absolutely nothing wrong with it but had to be replaced!),
3. Cedia (Don't see many on the road),
4. Sonata (In the "Indian Context of speeds, FE and Lifestyles, I see it is better VFM than Accord, Camry, Skoda Octavia / Laura, Teana)

Agree. Except for Sonata's garish looks its a great car.

Overrated - Honda's, SKodas'

Under Rated - Fiat's , Hyundai Sonata Embera & Elantra !! Also to an extent Cedia - Highly Capable Car, though it has started selling nowadays .

If ever there was a "properly" rated car, its the Safari. Its never tried to oversell or undersell itself.

Hi friends, i think u all forgot Fiat UNO, i drove it for long. its a e.g of auto engineering. u cant judge a car just bcoz of its shape. Palio is also her sister in same category.

Overrated : Definatly Zen. I dont know what people are getting out of it.

are you talking about the old zen or the new one? the new one is crap but the old one was a good drivers car. definitely not overrated.

Most Overrated: NHC, my god - the price they charge for it!!
Most underrated: Mondeo - Nice car, nice looks, never picked up (Overpriced??): Also the Palio 1.6 - Super dashing petrol guzzler. Great drivers car!
