This is really an achievement. Numbers are important, but the quality of the content is what makes Team-BHP stand out from those multitude of Automotive sites. Great work guys, I have learned a lot from here and still doing so.

This is indeed a landmark achievement for a landmark forum. TBHP is absolutely addictive (vouched for by the fact that I spend most of my time here; even when I'm at the office).

One of the most enjoyable aspects of being a part of TBHP is the level and consistency of moderation on this board. I am absolutely in synch with no slang / sms etc. This is one of the key reasons why this forum is a must-visit for me.

A big round of applause to ALL the people responsible for this achievement. May there be many more milestones....

Yes... it was nail biting. We at the back end were waiting, chewing our nails and looking anxiously as the counter kept going up. From 150 left till the mark was finally achieved it went pretty fast but at that moment time seemed to have stopped.

I was on the mod queue and finally at 4,99,997 post I was feverishly hoping that some newbie will not post a double or cause some other violation to force me to delete that post.

I was also hoping that a newbie post will complete the 5lac mark for us. But it did not happen that way.

It would have been fantastic if a newbie post would have taken us to the mark. Would have been very symbolic. But the thing still remains we are now a Big Board. And that is very meaningful and important.

Wow, that's a great number. The biggest milestone to date. As GTO said, it pitches us into the big board category. Heck, I have never been part of any big board, let alone moderate one. So, it is really exciting to see this.

My heartiest congratulations to every member here.

Ever since I joined this great forum, my life has changed in more ways than one. Firstly I have grown in terms of my knowledge regarding cars, I can now tell my horse power from my torque. Secondly, I have started respecting my vehicle which I did not do earlier and thirdly, I now am a much safer driver on the roads. I have stopped swearing at people who drive like morons and have started keeping my patience. In the true sense of the word, I have evolved from being just another driver on the roads to a much more aware and safer driver. All this would not have been possible without TEAM-BHP.

This forum ROCKS! Keep it up guys. Heres to another 500K.
