I'm not claiming that feat, check binz post #1633 He also has a video i think.
My personal best is 185kmph in my Baleno.

Yeah .. if thats the case.. I aint doing any more Engine mods. 180-185 is is the best the stock baleno can do..190MAX.

Binz's baleno is not stock

Now, isn't that also impossible ? The max you could push a stock esteem is 165 carb or MPFI unless you have a serious speedo error.

BMW Magnum 6V convertibe @ 190 KMPH on NurBurgring old F1 track.

BMW 5 Series 2 L hatchback @ 210 KMPH on Autobahn

Ford Ikon 1.6 Rocam (the wonder car) 175 KMPH on Pune Mum Express way

Opel Astra 1.6 @ 190 KMPH on Mum-Pune express way, starting from the last tunnel to the toll gate. needless to mention the help from the incline.

Mighty fast car for the performance specs ... I managed a 170 kph on the speedo ... Mumbai - Pune expressway ... there definitely could be speedo error kicking in here!

2. Mitsibushi Lancer GLXi

Another sporty car to drive ... 165 kph ... can do more I am sure ... again Mumbai - Pune expressway

I really don't care if you believe it or not.To be very honest,the car was bought second hand from 'sanjay agarwal' and it came with stock baleno wheels painted in white.Now ask yourself why a car would come with wheels painted in white?

I thought it had run a few rallys till i spoke to Sanjy uncle who said the car is bone stock AND I BELIEVE HIM.

Mods on the car were done in jan of this year.And that video was taken quite a few months before that.


The day you push your baleno on stock 165s is the day you will be able to believe those two videos.

100+ on 2nd gear - man the baleno is an excellent car - the max i have done in 2nd gear is 60kmph in my santro dunno if i can push a santro past 60 in 2nd, ofcourse the top speeds still remain 140kmph 5th gear on GQ for tbhp drive!!

stock Wagon R VXi: a lil under 140 kmph on NH5.

my bike has no speedo on it, but when it did have remember seeing 120 on it.
nowadays my bike is either going much faster, or I am growing older.

Hey Binz. Dont get me wrong wasnt try to call you a liar.

I was thinking that they misunderstood your claim that it was stock. If you say it was stock when it hit that speed I believe you.

I did push mine on the Tbhp yelagiri drive to 145 on stock 165 skinny tyres and I could feel it had a lot lot more to go.. however I did not have the guts to push it any further on the puny tires.

I have pushed my baleno on stock 165s and it would not go beyond 185 before installing the FFE. by the way, mine is an EIII model.
