Mahindra CNG Pik Ups

Hi fellow BHPians I have a small query. I've seen many Mahindra pik up trucks like Maxx and Bolero with a CNG sticker on them. So, I was wondering whether Mahindra produces their own petrol engines for these trucks or the diesel engines are tuned to run on CNG as a fuel.

As what I have heard is that diesel engines can't run on CNG.

Diesel engine can be very much converted to CNG.

That was a misconception few years ago with lot of people.
Public transport in mumbai atleast has switched to CNG completely.

I am sure that is the case with Delhi buses as well, though not very sure.
