1 ton TATA ACE

This is the TATA Ace i saw at the New Delhi Auto Show and i believe it is already available in this form in some overseas markets. I don't know why TATA Motors takes a long time to introduce a model in the Indian market. The new Indica is a cae in point.

I did see this vehicle under testing in Coimbatore. All I could notice was it was bigger, looked good too. I think it had a larger load area. Couldn't see much into the cabin as it was going the other way.

the snap in question definately is not anywhere close to being a mitsubishi based on the snaps provided, the 1T ace seems closest.

Guys this could a Chinese FAW 1 Ton truck that FAW maybe developing specifically for India.
Note the positioning of the ORVM stalks on this FAW Golden truck for example to the spy pic on the last page.Could be...

And the oval logo of FAW also matches to the shape of the logo in the spy pic!!

Singur plant? Cant be. AFAIK , its completely abandoned and nothing is being produced. Tata says they will return the land only if the government pays compensation.

Tata Super Ace

The Tata Ace EX comes with a warranty of 36,000 kms /12 months.

The current Ace has come as a boon to the transportation industy with the combination of its frugal engine and effortless pulling capabilities.

But, I'm sure many of us would agree, that the current Ace drivers are no less than Morons on the road. They drive the Ace at speeds in excess of 65kmph. I'm very worried what would happen if these same drivers get behind the wheels of Super Ace churning out 75 BHP and 125 kmph top speed. The roads would become even more dangerous!!

What next? TATA proudly advertising the 0-60 kmph and 0-100 kmph capabilities of TATA super ace!?

What is the solution?

Teach them better driving habits. Run affordable traffic courses for normal people. But we cannot blame Tata for all these in the same way as we do not blame knife manufacturers for all the stabbed deaths around.
