The fancy for decorating the autos seems to have been imported as well. Wish we could charge for that.

Dont you get to spot any Tata/Leyland trucks or buses, in Africa??

Also they seem to have the Tamil Nadu/Andhra Pradesh paint style scheme instead of the ordinary black scheme.
The first pic seems like a hill station in Tamil Nadu ala Ooty ,Kodaikanal.

Its great to see these three wheelers abroad. They (Bajaj and TVS) must be having authorized sales and service stations with adequate spares back-up in the country. Speaking about Tata and Ashok Leyland I have seen many buses in TV news from Sri Lanka. The Indian made three wheelers are also a part of the Sri Lanka taxi trade. Also during the Iraq operation by the US, quite a few Tata 207's could be sighted moving on Baghdad streets.

Yes Ashley2 will be carefull. Yes i do work in a Oil and gas Company In Nigeria.

anjan_c2007 the only surprizing part is that Bajaj 3 Wheelers are still using the 2 stroke engines and not the 4 Stroke one but the TVS is s a 4 Stroke unit.( they do not have emission norms fixed yet) Yes they have spare back ups but you never know as geeting the parts from Indian mainly on sea freight containers and not air freight causes quite a problems sometimes. Yes the TATA and the Leyland are here will update you pics of them soon

sadnabrina;2343463 Yes they also have the Alto Here which i made in india and used as a Taxi by a Company Called as RED CAB. Posting a pic of them. Wish the SX4 in Hatch version was sold in our country.

gsb350 thanks for the information. Do post more nice pictures. The Suzuki cars are Left Hand Drive. And it seems the taxi stand is dominated totally by Suzukis.

No anjan_c2007, the Taxi are not dominated by Suzuki. Its just one company by the name of RED CAB and if you see the number plate its starts with RC. Yes you have the option of getting custom number plates in Nigeria. This company only has SX4 Hatch and the Alto as taxi.

There is one intesting fact about Nigeria. They use 2 Wheeler bikes as taxi or as a commercial vehicle here. You could see in the Pic that the person riding the Bike has a helmet on his Head and one spare on the bike for the rider.(Not all wear helmets and the ones who wear are cheap quality just be on the side of the LAW) Posting some pics Of Hamara BAJAJ BOXER which is very sucessful here and in just 2 years it has dominated the Market.

Along with it i have some pics of the TATA buses.
