As per the dealership guy the cost of the tractor & both the attachments will be in the range of 10L+.

Its a great equipment for big farmers who can afford attachments worth 5L. (existing b2420 owners)
Pros
  • small & efficient
  • easily removable
  • versatile use
Cons
  • Cost
  • size
The USP of this product is its small size, which enables it to work in very congested area.

ex.
Grape plantations.

Its a great add-on for farmers with big land but for limited work.

For big works like long distance pipelines, big eater storage tanks its not sufficient.

We can buy a 60HP tractor mounted Backhoe-Loader combination within 15L.

Wow. Good stuff but the price is something which doesnt get in numbers. This will be of great help for farms trying to load stuff faster with the imminent shortage of labor across all sectors making farming unviable.

Got to check out videos online.

Indian perception of a BHL is synonyms to the JCB. The Kubota 'backhoe' maybe would work in limited application like farming if priced attractively.

Cheers!

I had tried to buy this tractor for use in the new orchard at my farm in haryana, but found no Kubota dealers, no response to emails sent to kubota, and no answer to the phone numbers I found on the internet. The kubota website's dealer listing is still blank. It says "Sorry , dealers list is under construction. If you get interested in our products, contact KAI, please." It still says that. I clicked the link to contact KAI, and filled out the form that opens, but I received no response. I contacted the webmaster and had that email bounce back as undeliverable. I was forced to conclude that either kubota is not in fact operating in India, or it is present in certain states and has no interest in being contacted directly by anyone.

I gave up on Kubota and started looking to other orchard tractors such as those manufactured by Massey and Force. that wasn't easy either. there are no force tractors dealers up here and the MF dealers don't know anything about the orchard tractor because nobody uses orchard tractors here. But two days ago, I saw a Force Orchard tractor sitting outside a dealer in pulwama outside srinagar, which makes sense because this is orchard country.

I have not yet bought an orchard tractor yet because the prices do not seem justifiable to me in the immediate term, while there is still space in the plantation for ordinary farm tractors. I will have to revisit the issue in the not too distant future. The loader and backhoe look like useful options, but frankly, the economics only work if you don't have staff to do the job or the time the staff will take to do the job.

Pretty sure it is not 4 wheel drive, based on some detailed research I had done and my discussions with their sales team only a few months back, to buy one. See the attached specifications - if it was 4 wheel drive, they would have screamed it is
