Great product by TATA. They understood the need in the market and gave the public exactly what was required back in 2005. Hope they are able to do the same with their passenger cars and SUV's. A great example of maximizing on their investment as well with the long list of products based on this one platform.

Ace is a brother killer. It killed the 407(from below. Eicher did it from above).

Now either the Taurus directly comes to the farms or the Ace does multiple trips.

The only thing i don't like about it is it's headlight.

Congratulations to the Tata Ace! Just like the 407, it was an absolute game-changer. Developed at a cost of merely 200 crores, the Ace achieved at the bottom of the (commercial vehicle) food chain what the far more hyped Nano couldn't (at the bottom of the private vehicle food chain). It represents the sheer genius of the CV division of Tata Motors. Wish we'd see some of that in Tata's passenger car department.

Fact is both Tata Ace and Nano projects were headed by the same person (Girish Wagh)

Good show! Does the 1.5 million figure include Super Act and Iris too?

Can Iris and Ace Zip be considered part of the Ace family? They have little in common technologically. Using the Ace tag is smart marketing though.
