A 13L engine normally has on an average of 35L to 40L sump capacity. But this being a V8 at 16L should be little more.Normally the grade used is CI4 15w40.

I was keen to have a look inside the trucks at the expo, but unfortunately the people at the stall said it was locked for Saturday and Sunday. The puller is a monster of a truck. Also it has a retarded capable of 4100 NM!!

European trucks (Volvo, Scania, DAF, IVECO, Renault, MAN, Merc-Benz) follow the Cab-over-engine (CoE) design (like the Scania you see here) for its compact dimensions. European motorways have very tight single carriageways and the cities have tight and compact lanes with sharp angled approaches to distribution points. American trucks won't do well in such a scenario, in fact, it can go nowhere in Europe, given the design. That's why Volvo has got a US spec truck which has the cab behind engine look exclusively for the US market.

Personally, I feel the European CoE designs look uber cool. The American design is brash and distasteful and in fact ugly. But, that's my personal opinion, no offence.
