nice pictures tushky. you seemed to have missed a car behind the red van.
the piaggio van and the goods carrier design wise look like the maruti van. not very immpressive design wise.

Great car. Tough competition for Omni. First TATA, now Piaggio. How come the test mule is LHD?

Looks very much like the old tall Maruti van. That was not a big hit. lets hope if this comes it does well.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...l-alive-2.html (Premier Automobiles -- Is it still alive??)

Tushky --sir I had posted the snaps of the same vehicle more than a month back -- refer link above -- it looked more like Premier Sigma rather than a Piaggio vehicle and it was LHD too just like the one you have captured :-)

Was reminded of the Versa. Hard to click in the Indian market unless they target it for rural/commercial segments.

Piaggio's Porter to compete with ACE!

Quote:
Sometime at the end of this month or April, we will be putting into the market a vehicle called the Porter 600. In the market today, the Tatas have a vehicle called Zip and Mahindra have the Gio; in that category, the Porter 600 will be launched. The Porter 1000 (Ace segment offering) is also going to come out by the end of this month.
