Looks very good. Wonder how would they price it!

Is it the 140BHP 2.2 VTT from the Safari or the 120BHP 2.2 from the SumoGrande?

Better looking than the Scorpio pickup, lot would depend on the price, but IMO Tata would price it competitively.
Any interior pics.

10L for top model is way too high for Xenon, with this sort of pricing, it is bound to go the Scorpio Pickup way!

At last the wait is over, unless the price is that high.I think TATA may be giving a big option list like in safari, and Hope they have some 4x4 version which is sensibly priced.

Extremely unlikely Steer. I believe the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 is the only pick up with multi link coil spring suspension. But you are right for a recreational pick up, coil springs at the rear would be the best choice.

The Xenon is quite good looking and looks far better than the Scorpio Getaway. Hope the sale of pick-ups in India pick up and also hope that it does not have the niggles typical to Tata vehicles.

I think it will definitely have the same rattles/sqeaks/niggles as other Tata vehicles. I hope that Tata's have ironed out the few minor/moderate issues that have surfaced with the earlier produciton of 2.2 VVTI engine. But nevertheless, I think if they can price it within the Sumo Grande range, it will sell.

The Xenon XT is priced at Rs. 7.62 lacs for the 4x2 version and Rs. 8.58 lacs for the 4x4 version, ex showroom Delhi. It comes in 4 attractive shades White, Black, Silver and Mineral Red. The vehicle carries a warranty of 2 years or 75000 kms (whichever is earlier) and will be retailed through 58 Tata Passenger Car dealerships across 39 cities to begin with.

3.0 Litre old gen safari engines...if these engines are going to be priced at 10L on the road, Bangalore for the 4wd, its definitely a rich man's toy...I would rather just buy the forester and stash the extra cash in the bank and use the interest for service, gas, and spares.
