Rio is OK, compared to Gio. But ACE has got an ACE above Gio. I doubt Mahindra has a Design House?

Bye the way, what do you mean by "barakuda"?

May be sooner or later word GIO will synonym "Ugly looking"

This looks like Champion modified. ACE has dominated the market till now, more competition should be better for the market.

Is this some kind of joke? coincidence? or some new style of cross-using publicity!?

Rio is far more appealing and for the Gio what a waste of resorces and the good design team

I would say dukkar tempo is far more appealing. Look at this beautiful model of the same.

I am eagerly waiting to see another horror, else it has only been rebadging and more marketing.

Boy, looks like someone was in a hurry with the design part. But the price is mouth watering for a commoner who wants his job done and doesn't care of small children getting scared.

Ouch. this really is the height of ugliness! The tata ace looks like a model compared to this. And now we have to see plenty of gio's on the road

Design looks like the poor thing is constipated, but doesnt want the world to know that it is.
Did i say it right? I think i did. ya i did.

Please Mahindra, stay away from designing horrendous stuff.

The Gio seems to be downright ugly. MM seems to be wanting to have a stake in every segment in the auto sector in India.

Lightbulb M&M VFM.. as usual.

Guys, the looks of this vehicle are hardly relevant in this category. I think what's being overlooked here is that Mahindra has created a new category of compact trucks (0.5ton) at a price of a 3-wheeler!

What's interesting from a businessman's perspective is that it is costing 1.65 lakhs and the mileage is 27 kmpl. As for the competition, it is slotted between the more expensive Tata Ace at nearly Rs 2.78 lakh and the ubiquitious three-wheeler, priced at Rs 1.38 lakh. The product launch is consistent with M&M's startegy of offering Value-for-money. Safety-wise, a 4 wheeler is always safer than a 3-wheeler.. besides, it has a semi-forward cabin with a crumple zone.

wow, the Gio has to be the ugliest vehicle I have encountered. But then Mahindra makes good products so I am hoping what it lacks in looks, it makes up in usage.

It already looks like it has met with an accident !

I understand a utility vehicle need not boast of good looks but this one seems to boast of ugliness to the core !

Whats with the cheap replica of Scorpio's grille on Rio or whatever this is called ? I believe people who designed this vehicle need to be given worst looking design of the year award.
