the Stag does not need a speed governer. Yes, we confirmed it, our bus has been checked, passed & we got our Reg. number.

thanks for the info. i dont understand why kerelites prefer stag over lynx especially since the lynx has more seating capacity
1. "Image" (like in "long nose trucks are for carrying construction material / short haul").
2. It is not about seating capacity; but size.

Are the 2 vikings tubro charged? The sticker on thsi bus says turbo charged. I cannot find an RPM mter on instrument panel. Looks like the pattern is to have an rpm meter on turbo vehicles? Not sure.

Take good care of the engine hood. This can be carelessly re-assembled by mechanics when opened; leading to plenty of noise inside the cabin. Make sure that the "flap" between the hood and gear stick remains intact - this can develop cracks / tears in 3-4 years.

Keep a couple of tube valves and the four pointed thingie to remove tube valve in all the 3 buses as part of the tool box.

And yes, those small things like ladder, rubber bushing, etc makes the reputed body builders stand apart from rest of the builders.

congratulations Raj..Awesome looking bus..and very much happy that its a stag that u went for. you know why(might be my personal opinion), if its a minibus when bought in cowl chassis version, only stag will give the perfect look. i have seen many buses(be it a tata, eicher,SML etc) all those body (built by any builder) doesnt look that perfect unless its a stag. No offence meant for other minibus fans...

Congrats on the bus . The lights seem to have the effect of lighting up a whole village . so many of them .Hope you get some pics in the daylight as it is too dark to look at some features .

Also this is the peak season for Mini buses in Kerala, Sabarimala season. Raj, Hope your buses are bringing in some moolah too. What about an A/C mini bus next?

Wish you had put the JBL tube in a loft instead of getting someone's head getting hit. The music in these buses must be a totally different experience compared to the ching chik we listen to in other buses.

I do follow your other thread, just asking what after the A/C viking, whether it a A/c mini bus. Now a days we see quite a few A/C mini buses on Kerala roads.

Hmmm, nothing yet is decided. Right now, we are concentrating only on the AC Viking. I think we will have to take a break now, before planning for a new bus.
