| Thanks Sam for the idea! Though I cannot do this in my swift because of the mirror adjustment levers, the idea of using filler+cloth to improve interiors is GREAT.. and opens the door to numerous new possibilities ![]()

| Nice one Sam. It increases my options for which car to buy. Previously I used to only buy cars which had front tweeter pods and motorised mirrors. As far as reducing treble is concerned I can see of a even nicer way....add these steps to the procedure where required. a) cut of most of back of cup before super gluing it to the panel b) use grill cloth that is a bit less acoustically transparent. you can test this by putting this over the tweeter and listening to it. c) cover that part of the grill cloth that covers the cup cavaity with paper or tape (to be removed later) to protect it from the loctite and putty. d) cut hole in mirror panel to mate with the hole made in the cup of tweeter (which is stuck on mirror panel). e) install tweeter from the rear and use grill cloth (after you remove tape/paper sheild) as filter.

![]() These holes are made so that you can inject the filler into the cavity between the cloth and the panel itself ![]() Like this.

Unless, you mount the tweeter cup and then re-mount the upholstery on the door panel.... hmmm.....
