That was really an effort. Now that you have the audio guru from Delhi to help you out, that will be sorted out easy.

Thanks. I will try and keep adding pictures as i go along. Also when i finish i plan to document the entire project.

Met the guru today , i think this will turn out good hehe. Keep watching this thread for updates, though it will take a bit to get rolling.

Hahaha, nothing that exciting. Updates are a little on hold, i am waiting for the last pieces of the setup to reach me, that will be in a few days. Then i am going on a little vacation to Dubai, so the actual build will take place in january, as soon as i am back.

Ok here is an update .

Last week, thanks to the efforts of JB and Gunbir, i was able to get the PC installed. The project will never be complete but now its a usable PC in a car .

Here is thefinished dash :

Great finishing job you have got done.

The audio system that went in was :

Audison SRx 5 Amp
ESK 165 components in the front
ECH 165 coaxials in the rear
ES 380 15" sub in a ported box

Inner layer of damping material :



Outer layer of Dynamat Extreme :


Front speaker mounted :



Front tweeters mounted in the door frame :


Tsunami 4AWG main power cable distributed to 8AWG Monster power cables:


DVD, Sound Blaster, USB Hub and FM tuner all in here :


The amp, under the driver seat :


The sub :


Changed the entire dash lighting to red to match the Audi MMI color :

Thats a great setup there...I think you have almost got all the things working, gps, music ect.

The setup really looks cool.
