Default Custom enclosure for pio 307 D-4

i recently bought Pioneer 307-D4. i am kind of satisfied with its performance but
problem is that i am already having two separate boxes for 6x9 Rockford's components and sub box is also quite big.

now jump seats can't be opened and when dad goes on a tour, i often get scolded for sub taking so much space.

i want enclosure which is small and doesn't sacrifices on performance ( i prefer sealed rather than ported ).
i tried but as you all know I'm too lazy.

hmm I think of a differnet option here. Install the Ovals like this..

like the way he has installed the Subs in the rear door. and keep the sub enclousre in the boot this way you can save space and get more boot space also.

@overdose bhaiya, the whole box can be thrown out!!!

1. The space between the jump seats and the 2nd row (on the side walls above the wheel well) is enough to make small trapezoidal boxes to house the ovals

2. For the 12inch sub, you can make a box with roughly a triangular cross-section (imagine a 12inch isosceles triangle, with a 10inch base - sort of like a bar of Toblerone; sealed, not ported) the WHOLE width of the 2nd row seat back. Mount this flush with the bottom of the 2nd row seat, with the sub firing towards the tail-gate.
[LBM-bhai, could you please check if the volume is OK for his sub? I think the box that I have described will be app. 1.5cft]

That way you will occupy none of the usable boot area where the jump seats are, and conversely use up all the area that is normally not used. Aam ke aam, guthliyon ke daam.

Der Alte, do you have any specifications for your subwoofer? If yes, we might be able to tell you how much box volume is needed. But car speakers are generally free air speakers or work well with an infinite baffle.

If I take 21 x 13 x 11.5 and taking the MDF is of 3/4 inch then the internal volume is of 1.29 cuft. which is quite good for the 307 sub. I would recommend to keep it as it is. no change is required.

But you can put the oval in the rear door for extra space required in the boot.
