| Friends, I had a question regarding receving DTH reception in a car has anyone tried this ? i know of following challenges 1. Installing an DTH antenna or finding an alternative to the DTH antenna 2. DTH is a reception where the receiving antenna is stationay, where as when receiving it in a car, then antenna would be moving. Does this need DVB-H technology or DVB-S would do ? If this is workable I see this as a good option for Bus / Truck as well as Cars with good rear seat entertainment systems. any ideas ? |

| Senior - BHPian | Well, it seems to be like a difficult job mainly because of the weight of the dish. |

| IPTV would be more possible and easy, as it might be available through the wireless high speed internet in future. |

| The IPTV is already available from BSNL. With their 3G network, it is a very good alternative to the Direct to Car solutions and economical as well. You only need a cell phone capable of providing the output to the Car Audio systems. Models like Nokia N82, Nokia 5800 comes with a AV cable. So should not be an issue connecting them to the Car Audio System. |
