Dear Gurus & fellas,

I have been following Clarion785 since thread inception & not succeed to get it but blessed with his small brother-Clarion576usb. A distinguished efforts of dubai friend made available in my hand @amazing prize - just 6000rs!. Well, direct front usb slot & magna Bass features makes me more puppy with losing advantage of TA in this model but overall we cracked the best deal guys! Thanks to all participants in clarion786 thread.

After HU in hand, I forced self by installed blaupunkt Thx401 4"Cox in front with shattered heart as here in Jamnagar no brave installer ready to cut my car door! This leads me to take 6x9 Blaupunkt in rear on parcel tray.

Clarion doing job well in sense but missing something even after 3 months play around settings of hu, tried to close on any setting but still struggling. Main problem is harness (highs) too much in overall sounds with deemed vocals.

After doing r&d, finally, now I like below two setup but couldn't close on it with missing something. Here we go..
_Setup: [1] _
Bass (+4 gains at 80Hz & 1.25Qcurve), Treble(-4gains at 8khz, Zhancer-Sounder restorer both off, fadar +2front, HPF/LPF=through as no subw.

I could achieved some extented reasonable thumb with reducing harness of highs and sharpness of mids. BUT CAUGHT IN MISSING LOUDNESS-VOCALS & TIGHT BASS WHICH I AM GETTING IN SETUP [2] BELOW.

_Setup:[2]_
Bass, Treble, HPF/LPF, Soundrestore all flaten with fadar +2 to front. When set Digital Zhancer at 2 & amazing thump of Bass with clear & loud vocals (feel singer in my car!) comes out BUT WITH SHARPY HARNESS OF HIGHS:Frustrati

I frequently switchovering between above two setup (& probs) and doing self conciliation with still thirsting of amazing sound quality:eek:

Pl suggest solution. Thanks for sparing long with me here.

Dear All,

I am looking to upgrade the speakers to component ones for the front door of my i10 1.2, the current front ones can be shifted back.... i liked the quality of Sony XS GTX1620S components.... my friend got it installed in his new Swift. But as everyone out here seems to favour JBLs, can i have an opinion regarding the same. It'll be of immense help!!!

My form:

1. Your Car: i10 1.2 Magna

2. Your current setup (If any): Sony Xplod GT270_with normal sony speakers in front (don't know model no)
3. Your Budget: 4 ~ 5k for a pair of component speakers to be put in front, and current front ones to be shifted to rear
4. Do you drive most of the time or is it chauffer driven? Self Driven

5. Your Music preferences (Genres, favorite artists, etc.): Metallica, Pink floyd, Linkin Park, Guns & Roses, some hip hop

Additional Information:

6. Are you ready to sacrifice your boot space/modify door panels? : nopes, not a single extra cut, but a tweeter can be accommodated anywhere

Hello,

Has anyone installed 6.75" components on the front doors for Verna(stock location - without any modifications).
I understand that the size of the front stock speakers of Verna is 6.5". I need to know, if it would be possible to install 6.75" in the same space.

The speaker under consideration is Pioneer D1720C : Pioneer USA - Pioneer (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/Speakers/D-Series/Pioneer/TS-D1720C)
