I am Akhilesh from bengaluru. Driving a sweet M800 (2004 carburetor model) which was my friend (other than my wife) for whatever little adventures i had on road in bengaluru,Coorg,Chikmagaluru.

Recently have booked Manza Diesel ( My first New car ).

Happy in one side to have new car. But sad to depart from my Old 800 (Will really miss all those small repairs,tuning that i used to do on the car)

Was following most of threads in Team-bhp before becoming a member also..(Had to try really hard to become the member :D) Great fan of all New car reviews,Great scoops.Thanks to all the members for the great posts.

Took the decision of going for Manza after reading the review on Team-BHP (and small test drive) So thanks a lot to GTO & others for the review.

I am a software engineer in bangalore. Bought a Santro 2005 model from my friend.

Thought I am software engineer, my interests are more towards automobile and electronics, a bit contradictory but true as it is my hobby from my child hood. I know complete working of Kirloskar single cylinder vertical diesel engine which we use it for cane crushing machine at our land. Since I did not own a car, my knowledge about a car engine and it's working is limited.

I was googling about nippon keyless entry system and Team-HBP was the only site listed in google. Though I could not find complete solution to my problem, I got many pointers to find the solution. I decided to be part of Team-BHP to explore further, learn and share ideas and seek help.

I would love to be part of petrol/diesel heads!!!!

Can't really believe my luck as my Team-BHP membership got approved the same day I picked up my new car.!
I'm a 19-yr old engineering student [first-year] from Mumbai.Learned how to drive only a year back as dad woludn't let me touch his old M800 without a valid license.Since then I have taken to driving like a fish to a sea.!:D
My username pretty much tells the name of our new ride.It's the 1.2 Asta model in black color which we got delivery of just today..Will put up an ownership report once the initial euphoria dies down and I can judge the car better.

My passion is cars and speed, an avid Formula 1 fan too since 1992.

A list of various bikes and cars i have owned thru life:
Bikes: 3 Yahama RX 100's, 1 Suzuki Shogun and 1 Honda Activa - all sold off. Currently do not own any two wheeler.
Cars: 2 Maruti 800's, 1 Maruti Zen, 1 Honda City VTEC (original fire-breather 2001 model), 1 Honda City ZX - all sold.
Currently own a Honda City GXI CVT 2004 model (automatic).

I became aware of Team-BHP thru google when i was researching my next new car purchase. I am going to keep my current GXI too

Thanks to the information provided i decided not to buy a Skoda product. I was almost sold after the test drive on the new Skoda Laura 1.9 TDI MT, however after reading the pathetic experiences of people have decided against it.

I am getting delivey of my new car next week most probably and shall post my enitre experience in detail.
Again thanks to you guys saved almost 15 thousand bucks on the insurance quote from the dealer.
