| How do I use secure-login on Team-BHP? |
| A secure-login sends your username and password in an encrypted format to the Team-BHP server. To use secure-login on Team-BHP, simply type "https" instead of "http" in the web address. For instance, the forum homepage would be reached via https://www.team-bhp.com/forum. Click "Yes" if the browser gives out an option to accept / reject the Team-BHP certificate. |
| How do I ignore certain forums from the "New Posts" search? |
To exclude a particular forum (which is not of your interest) from the “New Posts” search: 1. Go to your “User CP” and click on “Edit Options”. 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will find a section titled “Exclude Forums from Get New Posts". Mark the unwanted forums and click on the “Save Changes” button. |

To change the thread sorting option for your profile: 1. Go to your "User CP". 2. Click on the "Edit Options" link and choose your preferences in the "Thread Display Mode". |
| How do I quote multiple posts together? |
To quote multiple posts together: 1. Click on the small "multi-quote+" button at the bottom right of each post that you wish to quote. 2. Click on the "New Reply" button (bottom left of each thread). On the resultant page, you will see the chosen posts being quoted together. |
| How do I add a member to my buddy list? |
Got friends on Team-BHP? Make them your buddies. You may add any member of the forums to your buddy list by clicking on that Team-BHPian's profile. You can also add members to your buddy list from your User CP. The buddy list is used to keep a track of the friends you have made on this forum. By going to the "Quick Links" drop-down menu, you'll be able to see which of your friends are currently online. Adding people to your buddy list also allows you to send private messages to multiple forum members at the same time. |
| How do I ignore a member? |
Ignore lists are used for those people whose posts you do not wish to read. To add someone to your ignore list: 1. In your "User CP", the "Buddy / Ignore lists" link will give you the option of adding users to your ignore list. 2. Alternatively, you can go to a user's profile page and click on the "Add xxxx to Your Ignore List" link. |
| How do I use the BCC feature for PMs? |
Like in an email, BCC (blind carbon-copy) allows you to hide the full list of recipients. Simply click on the "BCC" link when creating a private message, and a new text box will open up for you to add the BCC recipients. |
| How do I use the referral system? |
Team-BHP now has a referral system, which allows you to be credited for any new users you invite to the forum. You gain referrals by promoting Team-BHP using your unique referral link. The link you should use for referring is this: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/index.php?referrerid=0 Each time that someone follows this link to Team-BHP and registers as a new member, your referral count will increase by one point. The number of referrals can be viewed in your profile. Please be courteous when promoting Team-BHP, by not spamming other web sites with your referral link just to gain points. |
| How do I set up the RSS feeds? |
Team-BHP has enabled RSS feeds which allows you to view newly created threads in the guest viewable forums without visiting the board. The feeds are currently provided in two formats, RSS and RSS v2. The differences are as follows:

| How do I reuse a photograph, that has already been uploaded on Team-BHP, in my post? |
To use the same picture again, and for convenience, you may click on the "insert image" icon (available in quick reply mode too) and enter the URL of the picture. This will display the picture in your post. |
