Just completed the NFS 5-1-0 the street racer thingy, got the lambo too as well as the Porsche... took a lota time to complete the last few races.

Apart from that also playing Pirates of the carribean , Moto GP. I guess the best one i would rate is Grand theft - Vice City.... Grand theft i think al the collections are cool.....

Try Super convertor SUPER . , you can use it for converting videos for almost any handheld device. Its a freeware and the best part is that you dont have to fiddle with the settings to get the best results, there are pre defined settings for popular hand helds like PSPs and Ipods.

Any one using the latest custom firmware m33-6 which was released a couple of weeks back? with this firmware ripped iso games can be played from the memory stick without having to keep a UMD disc in the drive. I am planning to flash my PSP with this firmware.

*****************Reviving this old thread*****************************

My friend is bringing a PSP for me from Dubai, I know it maybe cheaper in India, But in this case, It is going to be a gift, I have a couple of questions

Is slim the way to go??

Where can I get the Ahem Flashing!! done in bangalore? Anyone has any idea how much would it cost??

How much would a 8Gb Mem card cost in Bangalore?

Again would I need to make any more modifications to insert the mem Card?

Please reply people as I have to let him know soon.

Thanks

I am in England else would have flashed the PSP for you for free.

Flashing the PSP allows you to play games you can d/l off the net and emulators such as the Sega Megadrive one.

I would go for the slim, I have the slim and it is better than the old PSP. The power consumption is optimised so the battery lasts a bit lonnger.

There must be a few folks round there with a Pandorra battery and a jigstick. 1K is taking the mick, it literally takes 1 minute to do and is so simple that a kid could undertake it.

For just over RS1200 you can buy everything you need to do the job yourself.

DealExtreme: $29.16 Pandora PSP Unbricker Service Battery + Memory Stick Duo 4GB Combo

It does sometimes come in use to have your own unbricker and jigstick, my daughter decided to setup her cousins psp and messed it up pretty bad, took me 1 minute to fix with the battery and jigstick.

I have something similar to above but used an original phat psp battery and a 512mb card. The software can easily fit on a 256mb card so what you could do is buy the above, flash your psp and then use the memory stick for games, films, music etc and create a new jigstick using a smaller cheaper card.

Bump!

Any folks in Mumbai, I'll gladly do the flashing (4.01 M33-2, the latest custom firmware right now,) for free. I usually help out all Mumbai people if they manage to find my post on any of the forums I'm a member of. If you're feeling generous, I'll accept a beer for my "hard-work" . I live in Malad though, so the farthest I can travel on weekdays is upto InOrbit. PM me or post in this thread, I'm a little weary on giving out my phone number.

Hello,
I just checked with Sony world Showroom in Bangalore (Banashankari) and he still has PSP 2400 model and he is not aware of PSP 3000 Release.
I also contacted Sony India customer center and they are also not aware of PSP 3000 release in India But i read in web that Sony has released new PSP 3000 in India during Mumbai Playstation Expo & priced at Rs 9490.
I want to buy PSP but confused between buying PSP 2400 or wait for PSP 3000. Please help me.
