Congrats ramie on the buy...if you need titles PM me i'll hook you up currently I have over 200 odd Ps2 titles and 3 PS3 ones plus 7 PSP titles..latest to add to my list is Manhunt 2 for the PS2 , god of war chains of Olympus for the PSP and GT5 coming for the PS3..

Congrats ramie , i just got my friends PS2 , last week, after his life to sell it. But Dont have any memory card , no race games accept Burnout. Need For speed carbon is not working properly :( . Any help guys?? Any barters? or Sells for good racing titles!!

Same here, packed my PS3 up and put it away and have not looked at it for more than 2 months now.

No good having all the power if they not going to make use of it for games.

hey man PS3 is anytime much much better than the Dated PS2,I wanted to buy a PS3 directly but pocket does not allow me.... hehehehehe

Nitroxx matey for sure i will Pm you if i need the titles from you,till now i have just played the burnout dominator and mortal combat and i am going crazy for the games.

Dont worry buddy,i have NFS titles and other titles working just fine take it from me burn a disc for yourself,and yess the memory card is for Rs.275/- and some place its 350/- go and get it man....

Hi all,
There are some posts, but quite dated on modding a PS2. Thought I'll repost this query and get some up-to-date suggestions.
I have a PS2 bought from the US and supports NTSC (U/C) format. I want to mod it so that I can play games in the PAL format and also those backed up on DVDs.
Is there a particular mod chip that is better than the others? What do I look out for, and most importantly, the places where I can get it done in Bangalore.

ozzy, ask for the magic or messiah mod chip since these two are the only chips that let you play ALL versions.

My cuz is thining of buying PS2 slim. His friend is going to China, Japan and he told him to get it from there though he has not finalized yet as i told him that he wont be able to play backup copies on ORIGINAL one.

So i was thinking he get the PS2 from India itself. So anyone know whats the current prevailing price of PS2 chipped (slim one) with Controllers. memory cards etc etc.

yes abhibh is a NAND flash bus chip I believe..And can be removed.

great, one thing that you need to make sure is the version of the magic and messiah chips respectively depending on what model of the PS2 you have heres a list of which chip works bestwith which model..hope its helpful for you.

I currently have a modded PS2 V14 with DMS 4 Pro mod chip with over a 100 titles(bootleg copy). I am planning to buy a PS3 now. Are there any forums in and around Bangalore who are willing to share the games. I really dont mind buying and sharing within a forum.
