1. By Xbox, i meant the old Xbox, not 360. However if you have the budget (around 20k), Xbox 360 is anyday better than PS2/Xbox.

2. Memory card. Well you need that to save games. Wont you save your games or just play level one all the time? In PS2, you gotta have external memory cards to save games (original Sony ones cost about 800 bucks for an 8MB card). There are many fakes in the market, and i myself ended up having fake ones. So total maximum memory you can have with genuine memory cards is just 16 MB (2 slots in PS2 slim). On the other hand, with Xbox, you have an 8GB internal Hard-disk, enough to store all saved games you are goning to play in your lifetime, and even more, like movies, MP3s etc, no jhanjhat of memory cards. For playing movies and mp3s, (divx/avi/dvds/mp3s), you require a software to be installed. The dealer can do it for you for about 100-200 bucks. I tried to do it myself, ended up screwing up my Xbox. :( I guess i was unlucky, and i think these days modded Xbox comes preinstalled with the software.

It's needed to store your progress in Games. Like when you go from Dork to Nerd in Street Fight Ultimate

No, PS2 only accepts 8mb proprietary Sony Memory cards. 2 of these are usually more than what people need.

It is better to get a PC in place of the PS3......earlier when PS2 was launched it was also priced near 30k.....but now it is of 6.5k.....this shows how much profit company make on there new products.....

You are right. A decent config PC with a 19" wide LCD & you can play all the games you want.

P.S. I am still stuck with my PS1

Then again thats the official price. Im sure you can get it at Alfa or Palika Bazaar for much less. Even when the ps2 was launched India, Alfa sold it for much less..

Microsoft on the other hand have really priced their Xbox well. Its jsut around 1-2k more than in America and it makes sence to buy it from here for the bill and warranty.

they are selling at 24900 ....so it might be the grey one....selling at website....but who knows.......I would suggest go to palika and buy the working one......
