Just follow standards, as much as possible, support will come on its own.

Been using Opera for 4 years and never going to switch to anything else
Firefox is a good second option though.

I downloaded and installed.
It does not ask where I want to install, just installs it.
Poor execution.
Browser looks okay though.
Nothing special till now.
Will use and see

Just installed it also. Agree with tanveer. Seems a little bit faster than IE 8 beta that I was using till now. Will explore features and post a review in a few days.

PS: This post is from Google Chrome. Also just found a bug the page scroll of my laptop works only when moving down a page, it does not work while moving back upwards on a web page. Using HP TX1000 series laptop.

Definitely faster than firefox 3, the task manager option is a great move. Finally i can monitor and choose what i need and what i need to kill.

Lil bit of reprogramming the brain needed for the newer layout, but well worth it

The new tab button is very unique ok now ill stop this back to back post and wait for a proper usage for detailed feedback, from others or from me.

Laptop scroll works and woaaaaaaahhhhh its in Turbo mode!!

Happy browsing!

Type about:memory, run Firefox and IE side by side and this damn thing shows how much memory each browser type is using. Kewl ;-)

Yup, this very much looks like a programmer's browser!

Butttttttttttttttttttt (sorry, GTO!), those ads

It is really lean - I could also terminate a rogue shockwave flash plugin that ate 39MB of memory.

Open a new tab and it brings up a show case of most visited web pages. That's an awesome feature!

PS: What is it with the mapped virtual memory of Firefox. With just 3 tabs (with at most 2 visited pages each) has its value at 395MB! Wonder if it is really FX3 or is it a neat bug in Chrome ;-)

@jaggu - On my laptop it only works one way that is downward. Does not work for the upward direction. Am running Win Vista Ultimate x64. Agree with you about the turbo scrolling part.

Will report the bug.

Chrome install was a bit scary. (did't ask anything)
Imports everything from Firefox, (I want some control here)

Looks ok, too early to comment anything.
Its google na, so should be good.

Feels fast and looks nice.
Don't know what to do, I love Firefox http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gif

Edit:
I dragged the smily thing
It strangely shows the link ? I did it from Chrome
Seems its not supported ?

Back to Firefox

Hmmm. Looks faster than most other browsers. I wonder though why these nice folks at google decided to install the browser at such a weird location! They did not even bother to ask me before they installed it on my machine. Reminds me of their GMail adventure with no delete button. The 'Google knows best' ideology... Ultimately people got spooked to an extent where they had to introduce the delete option though they tried their best to explain that with GMail's unlimited inbox size you will never need to delete and hence no delete (and also that you should be able to search centuries old mails).

One cool feature here is that it is doing an online spell check as I type, a la MS Word!

Chrome is fast but its too early to compare to Firefox 3. I will trial Chrome and see its potential before jumping to any conclusion. But this is a nice surprise from google. Hope this project grows into something great like all other google products.

Cheers
