One hour of usage is great, but not fantastic. The trial goes on... The task manager tool is cool. No bug yet.

Cheers

They say chrome is faster than any other browser, becasue I think they divert the traffic through google servers, which they claim to be fatser in data transfer than others. The same with the IE plugin 'Google Web Accelerator".

Exactly why I would be wary of being Chromed. This may be bordering on the paranoid, but wouldnt the new browser give Google total visibility of your online life - Search, Mail, Chat and Browse, all through Google.

Pretty soon we will have Google TV and with Android our telephone habits will also be routed through Google.

And we thought Bill Gates was evil?

Normally I'm on firefox, with noscript doing most of my guard duty. On chrome, that option is not available yet. The sales pitch tells me that chrome is safe and wont let malicious scripts play with my computer and info, but I would still feel safer if I knew I was doing something about it, rather than leaving it all to google. just a psychological thing, but still....

Using Chrome. So far so good. Pages load pretty fast. None of my usual websites have crashed/caused any issues yet. So far, I Like.

The New Tab page doesn't have an option to delete any of the thumbnails on it (or I haven't figured out how to yet).

Anybody know of any wishlist page/bug-report page that Google's got up for Chrome?

To those who have used chrome. Does it support add-ons? More importantly, does it have an adblock alternative?

I have'nt moved to chrome completely- but the browsing experience is nice. wait till all the 3rd party developers start giving us plugins like they do in FF.

the other nice thing about chrome is, its open source, so we might see all the other browsers using this tech to get faster.

did anyone notice how all the links on the address bar offered microsoft links? its a nice tight slap in the face for microsoft who insist on forcing their products onto everyone. google is showing them how to be generous

All the usual short cut keys works from FF and IE work's in Chrome. More screen area is a boon in my lappy, found one buggy site and have reported it. Otherwise enjoying the experience and soon will be making it as my default browser option.

Funny part is when FF came out, similar remarks were being made about it lol.

When i configured my Yahoo id on iphone, i realized how google managed to grab the email engine market, soon chrome will rule the browsers, i dont have doubts.

Task manager on browser, isnt it hinting at the concept of OS interface on a browser

I completely agree. It neat & clean. Just navigation and reload buttons. + couple of settings. Great.

Need of the hour is to have a "gear" for ad block
