Yeah, I am on Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate.
This is the Cogage Arrow cooler, its quite massive, cools perfectly well.Haven't clocked the CPU yet so its fine.
I have Speedstep enabled on my Xeon so usually it downclocks and runs at around 1.5Ghz and when needed runs at full speed of 3.2GHz.
Here is a sample of what temp are like when its 100% CPU utilization for all 4 cores running 2 threads each.Such a scenario rarely crops up.

Is there anything there which does the same for an AMD X4 procy? EasySaver from Gigabyte was provided in the CD but I uninstalled since it is suspected to give many BSOD's.

EDIT :

You need to install the CPU driver in Windows and enable this feature in the motherboard BIOS.
Oh, I forgot to mention about that. Just wanted to know, when I run a heavy application, will it still save power and give me a lower performance?

If yes, then I guess I might have to switch off Cool n Quiet each time I play Flight Sim or GTA IV or something.

Yes, my AMD runs at about 25% or less most of the time. Hovers around 35C to 45C, with its max safe temperature being, I think, 60C. The stock cooler fan runs at about 3,500rpm, but will go over 5,000 at full whack; I turned off the PWM control, the other day, to find out. As it approaches 4,000, it whines, and I do need to swap it out for a quite cooler.

It looks like one could cook stuff on Amey's Intel!

But what purpose will it serve to dual boot WHS with Win7 x64. Win7 can already do what WHS can do, and much more including automated backups and media streaming. WHS is meant to be installed on headless servers to emulate much of the functionalities of Win7, IMO.

start the windows media centre. I have this running nicely connected to my panasonic plasma via lan and watching movies there and of course the music collection on the disk.

Hynix RAM. He told this RAM has spot replacement warranty for 3years, where as the other makes will take atleast 1 week to replace.

Rs1950 is the cost of each 4GB stick

in the long run, i intend to have WHS running independent of other systems in my house using the wifi network i've setup and don't want to use the Win7 system (which is a gaming rig drawing lot of power). the reason for the dual-boot was to get a feel of the WHS before creating a standalone.
